Thanks for your question. Fishbowl certainly isn't the least expensive of the inventory and order management solutions that are out there. I'm a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". Fishbowl has out-lived many of the less expensive, startup type solutions as it has been around and doing well for 20 years now, and is a favorite and top add on for Intuit QuickBooks users (and Intuit itself). In addition to reliable and often cited rave reviews of their Support team and structure, they consistently exceed the bar by regularly releasing new versions with improved and additional features. Also, besides providing financing to help with managing the cash investment of purchasing , they over many tiers of solutions, from full cloud hosted to full on-premise deployment, which helps you tailor how much you want/can invest for the solution. Call them at 800-774-7085 and one of their Solution Architects can help you decide what is right for you. And, might I mention, zero cost full trials and no contract engagements are available and provide little risk for trying the different solutions. good luck!
