# How do I refresh Cisco webex meetings without restarting my laptop?

Whenever I realize the program doesn’t work, I usually just restart my laptop, but this could take way too long when a meeting is starting. Is there another way?

I usually just click on "quit Cisco Webex Mtg" and then restart it

I think it depends on what the issue is when you say the program isn't working. One thing to keep in mind is that most often when you exit the desktop client by clicking the "X" in the corner (assuming you are on Windows), it is not shutting the program down, only hiding it. To shut the entire program down, click the little "up" arrow in the system tray (down near where you see the time and date). You should see the small circular Webex logo. Right-click and select "exit". The client is now closed and you can try re-opening it from the start menu (or desktop icon) to see if that fixed your issue!
