# How do I import pictures and place them inside a figure?

I would like to insert the image or picture and have it go directly inside a shape in my diagram. Sometimes instead I have to adjust the picture to a certain size, and then adjust the shape to a certain size as well and just adjust it to make it seem as if the picture is inside the shape.

Hi Ana, unfortunately, this feature is only available for Organization Chart shapes in Creately. For other basic shapes and diagram types, you need to adjust the height and width of the image to match the shape's size to place it inside. May I know the shape library/diagram type you're trying and importing images? If you can get the details emailed to support@creately.com our support team will be able to assist you.
