# What is the replacement for KindleGen for export to Mobi?

KindleGen no longer exists. How do I export to Mobi/Kindle?

KindleGen is no longer available from Amazon. So one alternative is to use Kindle Previewer to convert, preview, and validate your eBooks. You can generate epub using QuarkXPress and then feed this epub to Kindle Previewer to export that to mobi, azk or kpf based on if your epub is reflow or fixed
