How have different companies dealt with internet connection being different among employees due to COVID working from home?

We have been working form home since March due to COVID shutting things down. Because of this we are no longer connected to our fast network, but all connecting via individual internet services. Some of our team members have less than reliable internet and it has made it very difficult to get connected on video calls, etc. What have other people done to address this? It has gotten so bad that we have suspended out account with Whatso and gone with a cheaper option until we can go back into the office again.
