# Why the amount of recordings is the same as heatmaps? And why the credits are too low?

Crazy egg offers until 150000 credits at 49 USD per month

Hi Rocio, there seems to be some confusion. For $49/mo Crazy Egg offers 500 recordings and 75,000 page views.  On a cheaper plan (29$/mo) Mouseflow offers 2,500 (5x more) recordings and unlimited page views. Let me know if you this answers your question!

Hi Anna, in Crazy Egg recordings are not the same a page views. They have different credits, If you want to record, well use the recording credits. And if you wants to generate heatmaps, scroll maps and others you use page views recordings. In Mouseflow, if I want to create a heat map, I have to use recording credits. So, in Mouseflow there is no difference between only heat maps and recordings.

Hi again, Rocio! In Mouseflow  only looks at visitors and we record everything - all the pages your users visit. Straight out of the box you get 6 different types of heat maps for all your visitors for all your pages - you do not need extra credits for those, it’s already included. You get a full visitor sessions, which is a complete recording of a visitor’s full journey on your website. No matter if the visitor goes through one or hundreds of pages during the visit. Mouseflow only count this as one session recording. I hope this clarifies your concerns.
