# What is the best way to use templated URLs in go

I want to go an issue in JIRA for instance.
go/j/1234
or all PRs by an author
go/prs/authorname

Hi Sohaib! We actually have a great solution for that with our Variable links!  That would allow you to visit ticket "1234" by typing "go/jira/1234" for example.  Please see the below link for even greater details on how to get that done!
