# How can we setup AngularJS in a effective way in the tool? Also can we create the python functions libraries and resuse it in the surveys?

For some custom setups we need an additional functionality of js but js is very basic and time consuming so as an alternative to js can we setup AngularJS in an effective way. Also as Decipher uses python does it allows us to create libraries of functions that we can use in our surveys.

Hi Abhijeet,

Loading AngularJS in a survey is typically not an issue. There are however several of our dynamic question types that also use AngularJS so depending on what questions you are displaying alongside your custom setup the library may end up loading twice, creating the possibility of a version conflict. If you create your own questions on their own page on screen this should not be an issue though.

As far as Python libraries, we do make available a prescreened list of libraries. Loading your own libraries is only supported on projects that are solely accessed through SSH, which are only supported on private instances of Decipher. This is an advanced approach and precludes the standard methods of survey management.
