# How can you setup IdeaScale for running entrepreneur competitions or shark tank type events.

I have a department runs an event that asks innovative companies to propose to that Department technologies that are then funded by that Department. How can IdeaScale be configured to assist in that use case?

You can setup a campaign in IdeaScale to communicate details about the Shark Tank event and invite potential candidates to participate.

If you want to do a silent, electronic pitch, then ideas can be submitted into the system using customizable submission forms and attachments.

If you prefer a live pitch event, then once the event has concluded, IdeaScale could be setup to have your panel of Sharks vote on the ideas they want to fund as well as how much they’d like to invest in real or virtual currency using the Funding stage.

In any of the stages, communications back and forth can be facilitated using the Comments and Attachments feature.
