# improve interfaces, editable to the user?

Occasionally I find it difficult to find some files that are shared with me, I would like to know that it may be that I have badly configured?

Yea u can because the options looks little complicated the interface as well . On home screen of drive You can go to the life side which is navigation bar and select the files u der recents if they uploaded recently. And you are specifically looking for some other files if you have thousands of data , So there u can sort them according to name if u don't know name of the file then go with size if u are aware or if u recently open the file last month according to need . One more thing u can view them as list if not thumbnail.

Sort by "shared with me," or ask whoever sent the doc to click "notify" when sharing. Now, you will receive an email with the attached file.

There's usually a "Shared with me" menu item to the left side. If this doesn't show for you try checking this link on how to make that shortcut appear, depending on the device you're using.: https://support.google.com/drive/answer/2375057?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en&oco=0#

The problem usually occurs with 3rd party cloud storage solutions. i.e. Windows X may or may not index cloud directories. It might be possible to add your 'Google Drive' to your indexing; but it likely easier to just search Google Drive directly if that is where the data lives. (Select 'Google Drive' in Windows Explorer and then attempt the search from there.)

I don't think it is that you (the user) has it badly configured, but rather that how it was set up is not that clear or intuitive. I've had the same problem. Try right clicking your mouse - you may find some easier ways to find the files, or try looking up your PC or MACs file system.
