# How can I better learn to use the Rule Enginge?

Pretend you're going to manually complete a task in Google Ads, a task you do on a regular basis. As you're pretending to do that task in Google Ads, write down each step, then transfer those steps in the Rule Engine.

Setting up a Rule Engine rule as you pretend to carry out a Google Ads task is how you can ensure the rule does what you want it to do.
