# What's the best resources around learning ActiveCampaign

Or was there anything you did that really drove it home for you? We are trying to learn it and are struggling a little more than anticipated.

I find that if you go through the how-to videos and documentation with a task or goal in mind, you'll learn it better because you're only focusing on your needs. So start with set up (including segmenting and tagging) then move to what ever you're working on: sending campaigns, creating auto-responders, etc Lastly, give yourself between 10-20 hours to learn and set up each task. Final tip: do all of your writing and planning BEFORE set up. It's a recipe for disaster if you try and write emails while you're learning tech.
