# what is the best way to open the host file which is big in size?

it takes more time sometimes to open the hosted revit model , which is big in file size.

We also ran into this issue working on large airport projects. The only solution we were able to find is to separate our large central model into multiple smaller models. We then have an additional model that links all the smaller models together for export purposes.
