# Would you make a suggestion on how to better print the old text communication with one parent when needing to document on paper? (Making copies for a file)

I mentioned in an earlier note the need to review failure communication if needing to print hard copies of what has been communicated over the entire year.

Thank you for your question, Jane! If you only need a call or message log, you can easily export that from History located on your left main menu. However, if you are needing the actual conversation then you'll need to either take a screenshot (for shorter conversations) or you can copy/paste the messages on screen to a Google Doc or Word document. We have found these to be the easiest solutions as we continue to work on improving the ability to print and/or export engagements. I hope this answers your questions.
