When you use Zoom, you are running a Zoom platform separate from the browser, but still using WiFi. When hosting a meeting, you and your participants access Zoom’s servers. I access Zoom thru Google Chrome. As any other applications on your computer, Zoom does require updates, so watch out for Zoom updates.

The audio quality is related to the speed of your Broadband internet (WiFi connection) at the time You connect to your Zoom meeting. If your WiFi is good but your participants need WiFi is not, expect lag issues between audio and video.
