# What is the best way to utilize ActiveCampaign for cold emailing?

I would start an automation and with a split in the first step to those who responded and those who did not. the split with no response needs to continue to be worked with other intriguing emails until they respond. on the other side put the response like "clicked on a link" and send them into the sales side. hope that helps.
