# What's your favorite software?

I want to understand what others are using to keep their day-to-day operations running smoothly. We LOVE the microsoft suite but I know there are a lot of other options out there so want to hear from people in my field.

G Suite apps have been great for us as well. Mainly, G Mail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Sites (to an extent), Jamboard, Google Calendar, and more I’m forgetting. Hope this helps!

We use Google Apps and have for many years. The programming and scripting is AMAZING for automation. Collaboration is super easy, however, it is different than O365 and some users are resistant to changing to it. The more advanced things in Excel can't be done out of the box in Sheets BUT there is a marketplace for add-ons that allow you do do most everything.

I suggest using Slack & Asana.

Asana keeps track of assigments, deadline dates, project completion percentage and any other important information. It automatically prompts you every week leading up to the final day of submission and team members can comment on their progress each step.

Slack keeps everyone at a keyboards length. In the event you need an answer right away or a status update on a project.

Depending on the company, other day to day apps can work. Trello does the same as Asana (only difference you can specifically assign a task to one person without others seeing)

Our company currently uses Google Suite enterprise. Google Sites and data tools are a great addition. Everything is cloud based and way easier to collaborate than on Microsoft O365 products. However, many Microsoft products do have greater capabilities. Gsuite is great for the basics.
