# How do I decrease Bandwidth usage

There are a few things that you should be doing. These are in line with the image-related metrics on popular tools like Google PageSpeed.

- Resize the images correctly. Use responsive images if needed (ImageKit provides URL parameters for this)
- Lazy Load your images (ImageKit + any lazy loading JS will get you this)
- The correct format and compression (Done automatically just by using ImageKit)

Use ImageKit&#39;s website analyzer or the Performance Center on the paid plans. These give you insights on what exactly needs to be fixed on an image-by-image basis and how can you do the same using ImageKit.
