# How do I decrease Bandwidth usage

There are a few things that you should be doing. These are in line with the image-related metrics on popular tools like Google PageSpeed.

- Resize the images correctly. Use responsive images if needed (ImageKit provides URL parameters for this)
- Lazy Load your images (ImageKit + any lazy loading JS will get you this)
- The correct format and compression (Done automatically just by using ImageKit)

Use ImageKit's website analyzer or the Performance Center on the paid plans. These give you insights on what exactly needs to be fixed on an image-by-image basis and how can you do the same using ImageKit.
