# How does G2 Track work?

Any insight on how you apply Track to orgs? Does the success rely on me completely cutting out some of our tools?

One of the benefits of G2 Track is that it helps you determine if tools are no longer needed within your organization due to low usage, poor user sentiment and overlapping software functionality.  However, this is only one of the many benefits.  G2 Track also helps you right size your contracts by providing you better utilization/allocation data.  In addition it will help reduce the time spent on managing contracts and ensure that you don't miss an opportunity to re-negotiate during the renewal period.  Also, G2 Track will help you minimize compliance risk and  better allocate and plan your technology budgets.
