# Can I assign tasks to my clients without them seeing the entire project?

I am using ClickUp for managing client projects which are similar in scope (events, weddings) and I particularly like being able to set the timing of when tasks should happen without having to enter each date individually.  ie - 30 days after the client signs, certain tasks should be done, and so forth.  All I have to do is enter the date of the contract.  But I would like to share those tasks that are "assigned" to the client without them having access to the entire folder.  Make sense?

Yes, you can add specific people to specific items within ClickUp without them seeing everything around it. Plus, you can also share a link with someone so they can view what is going on! 

However, what we do with our system is we have folders for each client or each person we work with so it all stays separate, and then we create new areas when collaboration needs to happen to ensure that there is not more information shared than we intended. Our work requires an NDA that is unique with each client, so we take this separate step to ensure safety on both sides, but for most people this would not be necessary.
