# is there a way to &quot;archive&quot; material?

theres a lot of material that i need to archive but don't want to get rid of. is there a way i can save this without it getting in the way of material that i'm using on a daily basis?

Yes, you can archive content in Highspot. Archiving content hides older content without fully deleting the item. You can restore them if needed.

Also, archived items are still accessible by the spot owner, co-owner, editor, and anyone who has a direct link/URL to that item. And, they can still be viewed in a pitch.

Yes. Behind the 3 dots at the top right of the screen there is an option to &quot;Archive&quot; the content, which effectively deletes it. This is good for when a piece of content is old or out of date.
