# With a heavily illustrated product what is the best way to reduce the size of the final file for easier online publishing?

My final file looks like 3.6 MB size and I couldn' t reduce the size of it, even I added smaller size/quality images? 

Other question: If I unsubscribe from premium, can I still be on the free product with an option to share the file following that? Issue originated that the file is too big so no option to put it on the webpage for download access. 

I will not write ebooks every month so I will not need the premium subscription continuously. But when I need it I am happy to have the variety of the design features so I have no problem occasionally have the premium and pay for it when need only.

Regarding smaller file sizes, I use Adobe Photoshop to compress images before uploading to VISME. A free and capable alternative is GIMP (gimp.org). Other suggestions:  

* Be certain to use the jpeg (.jpg) file format as opposed to .png. 

* When downloading from VISME, be certain to choose the .jpg format instead of .png.
 
The downside is that jpeg is of lesser quality than .png. 3.6 MB is actually pretty small.
