# Is it worth it to pay for developer mode?

I could customize my app a little bit more, but I'm just no sure if it's worth it.

I believe it would be worth the money to pay for a developer mode.

Very useful if you want to have your workflow in Fulcrum to interoperate with 3rd-party platforms. For example, you could automatically create or update records based on information sent from another system or you could export Fulcrum data to an external (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) database.

In terms of app customization, I'd say you can do a lot with the 'Professional plan' too.
