Hi Murthy,
You might benefit reaching out to OwnBackup's support, support@ownbackup.com. They do take submissions for enhancements too.

In my personal experience, it really depends on the metadata to be able to answer your question accurately. There could be limitations with the Salesforce Metadata API, technical reasons to not offer the ability to overwrite that type of metadata in another org, or possibly OwnBackup has yet to implement that functionality.
