I would say Yes but bear in mind what you are looking for. Choose 3 or 4 major functionalities and compare such tools instead of trying to compare all options between platforms.

Absolutely, I use it everyday for these purposes. One thing to note is that if you want people to be able join the conference from a cell or land line phone you will need additional licensing for that. The license is called "audio conferencing" and you will need it for any user who will be sending conference invites. If you do not require people to call in using a phone then you don't need this license.
