# How are you proving ROI with Sales Navigator?

I'm trying to demonstrate our wins with LI to stakeholders. How have others found best way to show ROI?

easiest way is if you have CRM sync, set up an opportunity code and get the reps to record any opps that they generated through SN.
Could be an Inmail
TeamLink referral (in my last firm this generated $100k opportunity)
Inbound connection request.
The key here is that once SN has done this you can record the value of opportunity created - if that business is not then won, it is not that SN has failed, something else has.
I tend to focus on Return on Opportunity over the ROI. If they want ROI, for most business, all a rep has to do is close one deal per license and it has paid for itself, usually 10x over.

I use a three prong method to evaluate the success of LinkedIn.
1. Targetability - Every industry has a different ideal percentage, but essentially it’s an evaluation of the percentage of audience (viewers) across linkedin that are in your target audience / accounts. There are several ways to get at it. I use Hubspot for our Sales / CRM tool so I’m able to connect both ads and content on linkedin to see this calculation. I look at it monthly.
2. Leads Generated from Linkedin Traffic - Again using Hubspot and Google analytics I’m able to analyze what traffic to my site’s page where linkedin was a referring URL any time during the discovery process. Like ‘1” i build an index of Lead Generated by LinkedIn / Total Leads Generated. I look at this also monthly. I also compare this to other b2b efforts.
3. Revenue generated by LinkedIn - Now that I understand the Lead Generation I can look at the deals made by LinkedIn Leads and ultimately average revenue, revenue, etc. I look at this as a rolling quarters.

My own experience in the b2b area I find while the volume on LinkedIn is expensive to obtain (both in terms of work and $) it usually falls in the top 2 boxes (of 5) of delivering on B2B ROI.
