# Can I get Outlook independent of an Office 365 license?

It is my understanding that you need to acquire a 365 Office license to unlock all features for Outlook. I might be getting it wrong.

Outlook is part of the Microsoft Suite. You have to have Microsoft to use it. It doesn't have to be just Office 365, but you do have to have some version of Microsoft Office.
