# Talkdesk request callback function needs an improvement

Currently Talkdesk callback function does not allow a caller to specify to which number to receive a call back at. It sounds like this function was designed mostly around the mobile user use case. The issue with this is a calling party might be blocking caller ID and without a return call phone number collection there is no way for Talkdesk to callback the customer.

We had the same issue, but in fact there is a way to have the caller punch in their call back number.  This was solved by adding what&#39;s called an input IVR into the flow. Take a look at all the available settings because input IVR is a component that can be selected.
