# Is there a way to chat with a sub-group of participants in a videoconference?

I'm able to chat with either the whole group or only with one single member

I will answer this question with the best of my current understanding. When you set up a new meeting in Zoom, at the bottom of your screen between "Record" and "Reactions," access "Breakout Rooms." From there, you can automatically or manually divide participants into multiple groups. I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any more questions. Jesus loves you and may God bless you!
