# Other features on Zoom: sending those in the meeting into small groups

Having attended other Zoom meetings for classes, I saw a feature where my professor sent us (a class of 24) into small group (a group of 4) for a specified time, and then returned back to the main chat area. Is that feature available for Basic users?

I will answer this question with the best of my current understanding. A simple answer is that I believe there is. When you set up a new meeting in Zoom, at the bottom of your screen between "Record" and "Reactions," access "Breakout Rooms." From there, you can automatically or manually divide participants into multiple groups. I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any more questions. Jesus loves you and may God bless you!
