# Why was I getting Australia phone numbers?

Yesterday I tried to set up a new meeting and the invitation included Australian phone numbers for others to use to join the meeting. I am in the United States, so this made no sense. I spent several hours looking for a solution and couldn't find one. Finally, I deleted my account and opened a new one. This experience was frustrating and costly.

I believe it has to do with your settings.

From iOS:
Settings >> Click your email (MyProfile) >>
Scroll down to DEFAULT CALL-IN Country or Region.
Check that it doesn’t say Australia and change it to United States (or whichever country you’re making Zoom calls in).
