# How does Affinity clean up old photos?

I have many old photos with flaws, light areas, dark areas, scratches, etc.

I am not sure what you are asking with the "how"?  There are a number of automated features, but also  you have a lot of choice in how  cleanups are made, such as  selecting areas that need to be repaired and how you choose repair them.
