# Uber gift card scam

So I purcased a uber gift card at lowes only for it to fall out of the bag on the way to my car,
. I get home and add the funds from my receipt and says its already been added to someonelse account ( luck me someone picked it up and stole it). I  contact uber gift card number on the back of the card and they said they only handle payments and valadations.and contact uber..so I sign in and there no phone number for customer support and only a so they make you pick a topic for question and answer.none have to do with gift cards or lost or stole ones...So I email help and they said they cant transfer my money / funds from there account to mine even though I hold the receipt for purchase...crazy ubers a scam buys beware

Please don't involve in such types of scams. Buy gift cards only in well known companies. Recently I won a $500 gift card at Lowes retail store by participating in the official Lowes customer satisfaction survey.
