# How is the limit for the number of contracts defined and implemented?

For instance, do all versions of a contract during negotiations count as one?
Can you archive finished contracts so they don't count against the limit, yet bring them back later for a renewal or renegotiation?

Only the main contract counts. Any attachments stored (drafts, presentations, pricing sheets, invoices, etc) do not count toward the total.

There is an archive feature that allows simple archiving of expired contracts. Anything archived will also not count toward the total, and can be quickly restored into your main account if needed.
