# Is there a way to disable tab view? If I open multiple PDFs, I want them in separate windows so I can drag/drop pages between them. Having them in the same tabbed window doesn't lend itself well to drag/drop.

Hello Jessica:

There are two options available for this.  The easiest is to drag the tab to a second screen.

Just "click and hold" the tab you desire to move, then "release" on the other screen.  This will allow you to view multiple PDFs at one time.  When you are finished, you can "close" or "drag" the windows back to the "original tab" portion of the software.
