# Can I use Upchain to store work instructions or control plans?

It would be nice to have control plans for each part.

Yes, work instructions and control plans can be associated with specific Items and Assemblies within your BOM. Additionally, you can associate work instructions with specific QA procedures, and control plans with product requirements.
