# How do I screen-share my computer from my lecture without any quality loss?

I've had trouble with zoom when switching from lecture to a screen-based lecture and the quality always seems to decrease. Hopefully, zoom will make this optimized making it a better experience for me.

I would suggest using an ethernet connection instead of WiFi if you're having trouble and if that is possible. Ethernet direct connection is always better.

I have shared my desktop and videos with every class since mid-March and when I playback the videos, I do not observe any quality loss. It is possible that there may be some erosion if users have a weak internet connection.

Since you can screen share any screen attached to your PC ensure that you use a high res screen as the one you share

The stream will always depend on your internet speed. Also, if your viewers/students, do not have a stable connection, the zoom meeting will keep adjusting the video settings.
