# Can you integrate more of the features from illustrator into indesign? Like linework ?

If you want tapered or more organic brushes, do that in illustrator; then drag it into indesign.
it will create a vector point to point object.

You can draw with the indesign pen or pencil tool but
Lines created initially in indesign are rules, dots & dashes, you will see in the pull down menu.

Not really, in my opinion. You can change some colors, but you are not going to have the same creative freedom as you do in Illustrator with the pen tool.
