Yes. There are different yearly plans you can purchase that have different levels of storage size for personal or business use. The idea is that you would need to purchase a larger storage size for business use.

I would recommend using OneDrive for business for both business and personal use. At time of this writing OneDrive "Personal" is not HIPAA compliant. However OneDrive for Business does meet required regulations for HIPAA.

Absolutely! In fact, I used it for personal use before business use and now I use it for both (and have 2 OneDrive accounts -- one for personal and one for business).

Yes, it works just as well for personal use as it does for business use. I think that the people that you would like to share documents/files with will also need to have OneDrive but that is only for the ability for them to access your document/file while it is on your OneDrive. You can still send a document as an attachment though. I am still looking into the sharing functionality but am rather certain that my comment is correct. I would appreciate it if others would confirm or correct my comment.

It depends on how you share the document. I am pretty sure you can share with anyone regardless of them having an account however if you want to share with someone who does not have a onedrive account then you have to email them a public link which is not secure. By requiring the user to login you are securing that link and only allowing the people you specified to login and see the contents.

Yes, it can be used for personal use. But, as Sarah mentioned, it needs to be purchased. What you purchase would depend on what your personal needs will be.
