# Can shared files be accessed by anyone, or will i know if theyre being accessed by other users?

if someone shares a file  i shared with them, will i know?

you have the options to make your files secret , or accessed by some people you choose , or make it public

Not by default and not unless you look.  The Activity Dashboard inside the document/sheet includes a Sharing History log.
