# Do you have something that would work better for school environment?

As a school we have specific questions that we would like to ask of potential families, but I'm having a hard time getting them to work. Also, is there a way that I can get notifications for specific teachers depending on the selections of those potential familes?

Hi Adam, I currently work for an Online Public School now and YouCanBook.me has been great! Actually 90% of our teachers use it to book one on one appointments.

I think, personally, its all about how you set up the Booking Form that will make it more applicable to you as a teacher/school. Mine includes Student First Name and Last Name (as a short answer question), Phone Number (as a phone number question), how they would like to meet (over the phone or in my online classroom)(as a multiple choice question), what class they are in (with a drop-down for them to choose their class)(as a multiple choice question), and to briefly describe what they would like to cover (as a short answer question).

As far as I know, the notifications will only be sent to one email address. You could set it up where the booking would go to a dummy account that an administrator or admin assistant has access to and then once it is on that calendar just add whichever teacher you want onto the calendar invite.

I hope that helps!

I have been using YCBM in a college environment for advising bookings since about 5 years. As long as you adjust the messages, it works fine. I put the details such as phone number and office location in them. Because it integrates with Outlook and Gmail, it can dynamicly schedule appointments, which works better than the tool offered by our school.

Hi Adam, this is Bridget here, thanks for your question. First thing to say is if you are a public school Adam, you would get 30% discount upgrading, in order to use the teams feature. Yes everyone booked on different calendars can get separate notifications - it sound like you would need quite a bit of tailoring, so best have a dive into these useful resources - https://support.youcanbook.me/category/9-calendar-teams.

After that your notifications can be conditional and tailored to who they are going to: https://support.youcanbook.me/article/288-walkthroughs-notifications-workflows

best you email us though, Adam, with your specific use-case and we'll be able to help you. team@youcanbook.me
