# IS Geomedia is Avaialble for Utility Planning??.E.g TELECOM sector

We are Using GE Smallworld in Our Company for Network Planning & Implementation.So need to Know whether GEomedia is providing Support in  Utility .

Hexagon has two different tool: 
1. G/Technology solution which is tailored for enterprise. You could build your data model for your business model and your company or take one of predefined data model. These predefined data model are build by Hexagon USA and Hexagon Germany and they have lot in common, how ever there is some difference, final decision is based on your needs.
2. GEOMEDIA or GEOMEDIA SMART CLIENT are smaller solution and they could be use as standalone platform or in combination with G/Technology. Geomedia could be use for small scale Telco project or as tool above G/Technology for different kind of custom made analyzes.
Geomedia Smart Client could be use for middle scale project in Telco, mainly asset management, it require some customization but have very low cost of further administration. 
If your choice is in line with size of project or business and  zour need zou will make good decision by choosing Hexagon.

I think you should also investigate about g/technology. It is "Advanced Utility GIS" of Hexagon and brother of Geomedia :)
