# Why are we differentiating courses based on roles?

When I was searching for a course, I go through profile in which I would be working. Is this the usual/easier way to recommend the best course?

You can also search for courses based on roles you're thinking of taking. Some of the courses I have taken have steered me away from some paths and towards others. I find it extremely valuable to be able to gain this knowledge prior to making a jump.

By using a profile of where you would be working, the courses will better match what you might need for that role. You can also look for courses to expand your role or change positions or even move up in your organization.
