# What is the best way to get recommendations and alerts without the constant pop-ups?

When I click on a job, the darn screen always pops up to ask if I'd like to save my search as an alert and gets in my way of applying to a job.  If I click yes, it takes me away from the job I wanted to apply for.  This needs to go away completely.  A bad thing for sure.

You can request email alerts and turn off popups in email.

Click on "Me" then "Notifications".  Uncheck the box to the left of 'Job Alert Digest' to unsubscribe from Job Alerts .then click 'Save Changes'.  This would unsubscribe you from the alerts.  You can request email and make sure your email does not send popups.
