# What should I be teaching Master of Economic Development  students about using Gazelle?

We are including Gazelle as one of the data analytic tools into the Master of Economic Development program.

Hi Chad,

Students can use Gazelle.ai for many applications in economic development. A few that come to mind:
1. Gazelle.ai for Tech Transfer: Student's can use Gazelle.ai to target companies that can commercialize or apply their tech developed at the university. 
2. Gazelle.ai for business attraction. Students can find companies in certain targeted industries, use the G-score to find the companies with highest potential for expansion, and geographically target the companies for recruitment.
3. Gazelle.ai for industry research. Using the industry finder of the platform, students can monitor the industry heat maps to find recruitment zones, value proposition development, and benchmarking.
4. Gazelle.ai for working projects. Using the projects tab, students can work projects like they would on the job. After building their value proposition, students can engage with companies, build their case, and recruit companies.
5. Gazelle.ai for relocation. Students can act as site selectors to help companies decide where they should relocate. Using the industry finder to find cluster information, the GIS map to locate suppliers and buyers, industry heat maps to find the most competitive salary and workforce, students can create a plan for companies.
6. Gazelle.ai for Business Retention and Expansion. Students can use Gazelle.ai to monitor companies in their jurisdiction to make sure they grow and expand locally rather than somewhere else. Students can use the G-Score to interact with the companies with the highest growth potential in their region.
