# How do we boost uploading speed

Takes lots of time to uploading data from pc for backup. How do we increase its uploading speed

Your upload speed is only a small part of this. Real world tests put OneDrive at roughly twice as slow as DropBox and Google Drive. 
My favorite suggestion is to switch cloud storage. lol
Also avoid small files. Yeah, like you have a choice. 

There's not much you can do. I've done some real world tests uploading 2GB of files, one of which is a single 1GB file, and the others are mixed from 25MB to 1KB. The oneDrive for business speed was not changed at all when moved from wildly different environments. And within the same environment run off hours, it also changes. 
Sometimes it's slow, sometimes...well, it's still slow, but less slow than before.

Hello,
The best way to boost your upload speed would be increase the bandwidth from your ISP. The time it takes to calculate upload speed could be calculated like this (Filesize in Mb / Upload Speed in Mbps) / (60) = Total Upload time in minutes. If your Upload uptime speed is 20Mbps and you are uploading a 2Gigabytes file, in megabytes that will be 2048mb. ( 2048mb/20mbps)/(60) = 1.7 minutes. This helps you have a rough idea how much of an impact your internet speed has. Another thing would be to use a computer with faster processors.
