# What do you find is the best way to have a group take a survey/knowledge check after or during class

Survey: at the end of the day, Did you find this class beneficial? etc ... or a pre-Class assessment, How would you .... ?

Hey Debra 😊 The best way you can do this is by adding the survey directly into the custom viewer along with other content. This can be done before or during the class. Then notify the users, either through chat or video conferencing, that the survey is available for them to take.

For online virtual classes I tend to use the chat facility of the delivery tool , i.e. Zoom or Go-to-Training to prompt for knowledge checks/polls. We tend to use Metrics that Matter for our class surveys that are sent to students towards the end of a class.
