# Can we export schedule into exel

Revit give only text formate export so it will be very helpful if we can export it into exel

There are addins to do that. Also Excel can be read and written with Dynamo.

I would also suggest adding the excel Add-in. It allows you to transfer data back and fourth between revit and excel as well as link documents.

From the schedule view: Big R &gt; Export &gt; Reports &gt; Schedule. It creates a .txt file that can be opened in Excel.
