# How would I go about introducing Discord to clients?

Is there a simple guide that would allow someone with little knowledge of discord to set up an account and communicate that way?

Hey there, Elle! Discord doesn't have an official guide, as far as I know. But it has one of the easiest interfaces to get used to. All your clients will have to do is download the client and the rest is self explanatory. For friend requests, server invitations, voice call invitations, they get a notification much like Skype. The only tricky part would be learning how to send friend requests, which requires you to include the Discord tag (consists of # and designated numbers) which the person you're trying to add will have to provide. A lot of new users tend to miss the Discord tag while sending friend requests and this often results in failure. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.
