# How come I can't copy and paste text from a Word Document and get the same format in mailshake?

When I copy and paste from word document, the indentation and spacing changes in Mailshake. It's kind of a pain.

Hi Joe, check out our help doc about copying from Microsoft Word into Mailshake - docs.mailshake.com/article/115-im-pasting-content-from-a-program-like-microsoft-word - your best bet is to paste without formatting by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + V on PC, or CMD + SHIFT + V on Macs.
